Next to waiting for the bar exams results, the grueling 5 months review before the bar exams is probably the most difficult trail by fire experience (Reminds me of burning your finger in an electric fireplace insert) a would be lawyer would go through before actually becoming a lawyer. The 5 month review is no joke at all. I would even go to the extent of saying that the experience is more gruesome than the actual bar exams month itself. For some, the cost involved in terms of time, money and resources is even equivalent or more to your four years in law school. Marketing one of the best Bar Review Centers
For the past few weeks, we had been busily promoting Jurists Bar Review Center in Cebu City Philippines. In fact I have written several articles related to Jurists Bar Review in this blog namely: - November 27, 2007 – Ten reasons why I love Jurists Bar review Center - December 26, 2007 – One of the gifts I hope I will get for Christmas - February 6, 2008 – Applying the Blue Ocean Strategy in Bar Exam review We are utilizing all means to promote the review center. We are currently putting up the familiar "yellow" (The Jurists "official color") posters in study centers, law schools, and government offices. Three huge streamers are also placed in heavily populated areas. We have given press releases to two newspapers; they will be possibly printed before the end of February or early March. Recommended books for the Philippine bar exams review
I've received several requests asking me what law books I used in reviewing for the Philippine bar exams. Now that I have a blog I don't have to enumerate them one by one to every single person that ask me that question. All I have to do is give them the url of this site and tell them to check this post. Basically, there are two sets of books that I will be giving. The first set are the ones that are to be used during the 6 months review. (From April to August) while the next set should be used during the "pre-week" review. (1st week of August and within September) Take note that these are the books I used. I am not saying that any of these books are more superior than others. For those who want to follow my lead then go ahead. But if you find a material that suites you best than use that instead.
