My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." Who is DJ Montano and Brian Gorrell and why you should get to know them

You’ve probably heard about Ceasar Montano (Famous Philippine actor & film director) and several other famous Montanos who are politicians, actors, singers, directors and T.V personalities both here and abroad. But who the heck is DJ Montano ? “DJ” is short for Delfin Justiniano. That’s his real name. I won’t tell you who he is, I’ll leave the research up to you. And who is Brian Gorrell ? Again the research will be left to you so I won’t spoil the fun. But I’ll tell you why you should get to know these people. “Brian Gorrel” and “DJ Montano” are both HITLOD keywords ! (To know what is HITLOD, check out the post entitled “Do high trend low density “misspelled” keywords bring you lots of traffic?”) Look at the graphs for both “Brian Gorrell” (Whether spelled with a single or double “L”, both shows up in Google trends) and “DJ Montano” in Google trends. Is Jun Lozada really helping the country?

The name Jun Lozada is unheard of months ago. Nobody knew who he was until recently he became the “star witness” of the ZTE-NBN broadband scandal. For those of you who do not know what the ZTE-NBN broadband deal is, this deal is made between the Philippine government and the People's Republic of China through a Chinese government entity named ZTE. The project had a good intention which is to link government offices and establishments all over the country in order to improve the delivery of services to the common Filipino. Its educational application could also do wonders for our waning educational. The deal was formally scrapped by the president due to rumors that people who were involved in this deal made money out of it.. The key witness in this controversy is a man by the name of Jun Lozada. More money saving tips

Several weeks ago, I wrote a post entitled "Money saving tips” This is somewhat a continuation of that post. With the rice crises and rising oil prices that have been crippling ordinary Filipinos from all walks of life, coming up with a list of money saving tips is my small contribution to at least somehow in my own little way help ease the burden of my fellow countrymen. Aside from that “money saving tips” is one of the main themes of this blog. The following are money saving tips that I have experienced and would like to share them with you: 1.) Buy in bulk – Go to your local grocery store and compare prices. In particular, compare prices between small items and big items. For example, a 50 gram sachet of detergent powder vs. 250 grams. You will notice that the bigger the size, the cheaper it will get. In fact there is usually a tag that says “Save P15” and if you buy the bigger one, the numbers will get bigger. My Asus EeePC experience

About a month ago, I sold my wife's almost two year old NEO laptop for half its price and decided to get the hottest sub-notebook PC craze - the Asus EeePC. After several weeks of using the ASUS EeePC, my wife said it was a great machine, and she wanted to keep it if she can, but she said she wanted a Nintendo Wii as well. I told her, I can't buy her a Wii because I was thinking of getting an Asus EeePC myself. She said that I can have her EeePC for as long as I get her a Wii. I remember about 5 years ago since my last laptop experience (A Toshiba Satellite) that I vowed that I would never again buy a laptop, not until they improve the battery life to at least 12 hours. It made no sense lugging around a heavy machine, and yet only getting about 1 or 2 hours of work on the road. Bohol Escapade !

Cebu City has currently 6 bar review centers. Of all the bar review centers, I believe we are the ones that has a very strong and intensive marketing program. We have utilized almost every form of marketing medium available. We have posted posters and distributed flyers in courts, study centers and law schools. We have utilized the radio and released press releases in newspapers. We are even contacting our own alumni to promote Jurists Bar Review Center. I just hope that our efforts may translate into more enrollments, considering that we are the new kid on the block and the competition to get bar reviewees is so stiff. Now that we have saturated Cebu City and Dumaguete City, (The Jurists Bar Review administration from Manila has saturated the nearby islands of Samar, Leyte and most of northern Mindanao) it was time for us to take our marketing efforts to the nearby island of Bohol, specifically in it’s capital city, Tagbilaran City.
