As I wrote in my pervious posts, one of the greatest sources of a higher traffic is the optimization of the proper keywords and in order to do this we must be able to search out high trend, low density keywords or what I call personally as HITLOD. For those of you who are trying to drive traffic (I hope your driveway alarm does not ring because of this hehehe) into your blogs through optimizing keywords you can read more about this in my post entitled “A step by step guide on how to optimize high trend-low density keywords.” I am not an SEO expert but I have learned a lot through the experiences of others and my own experience. I had my share of success stories with regards to optimizing certain keywords and I wish to share that experience to those who are new in Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I regularly post about my SEO experiences and share good keywords from time to time. Ghosts in your basement ?
My grandparents have a basement in their old house. When I was a kid they used to tell us not to go in there because there are some “spirits” living there. In fact a lot of people tell us a lot of ghost stories connected with such basement. I always thought that they were only trying to scare us because they do not want us to touch any of their stuff stored there. Unfortunately, the stories stuck with some of my cousins, aunts and uncles. Later on the old house was converted into a school and the basement was utilized as a classroom. The teacher and the students stopped holding classes there because a lot of students got sick and that there were this strange feeling and odor in the basement. The living in the basement ghost story became alive again. Although I believe in evil spirits but I do not believe that they do not lurk around my grandparent’s basement. However a different kind of “ghost” lurks around not only in my grandparent’s basement but in all basements as … [Read more...]

Lex Pareto Notes now available in all National Bookstores nationwide !!!
The other day I got a long distance call from our publisher. She gave me a good news. She informed me that our book, the Lex Pareto Notes is now available in National Bookstores nationwide !!! As soon as I heard the news, I waited for several days since I considered that it will take some time for them to ship it to their branches. However after 3 days somebody informed me that the Lex Pareto Notes was already available in the National Bookstore in Ayala Cebu. In the following days, I received calls from law students asking me when will volume 1 be made available. They also informed me that they came across the Lex Pareto Notes in the National Bookstore branches. By the way I have already mailed the script for volume 1 to our publisher. I estimate that it will be made available sometime in Late June or early July this year. (2008) I went to Ayala to see for myself. I browsed over the stack of textbooks and after seeing our book displayed, I was so proud and happy to see our book … [Read more...]
Mother’s day tribute
Mother's day is officially Sunday, May 11, 2008. We celebrated it yesterday here in the Philippines. But the celebrations are not yet over since in the United States and in some parts of the globe; they are still celebrating mother's day. (Because of the time difference) However there are some countries that celebrate mother's day on a different date. That's because of the concept of "mother's day" has several origins. According to Wikipedia, it is said that mother's day originated during the ancient times of the Greeks and the Romans. The Greeks held a festival to Cybele, a great mother of Greek gods sometime from March 15 to 18. The ancient Romans are said to have some sort of mother's day celebration called "Matronalia" dedicated to Juno. It is this day that mothers were usually given gifts. The origin of mother's day in modern times is said to have been started by Anna Jarvis. Anna Jarvis is the daughter of Ann Jarvis who in 1858, had attempted to improve sanitation … [Read more...]
