My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." The Olympics fever is taking the world by storm! It’s been the buzz of news headlines these past days, people are excited to see as their country slug it out to make it on top in the Beijing Olympics 2008 standing. I admit, this post is primarily to optimize for the keyword “Olympics 2008 standing” A similar keyword in the last Olympics (“Olympics 2004 standing”) received several hits for a couple of days. I am hoping to exploit the keyword “Olympics 2008 standing” which is “short-lit HITLOD keyword” to at least temporarily boost the traffic in this blog. Investing in the Philippine stock market – Beating the bear

I’ve always dreamed of someday deriving my entire income from investing in the Philippine stock market, and until this day I have always pursued that dream. I am not only dreaming about it, I am doing something about it. I am actively investing in the Philippine stock market and continuing to read books and attend seminars on how I can be more effective in investing in the Philippine stock market. I’ve always preferred investing in the Philippine stock market over any other forms of investments. My parents told me that Real Estate is the way to go when it comes to investment since my grandparents has been very successful in this. I am a license real estate broker, but I am not very enthusiastic with real estate. I could cite several reasons why I don’t want real estate as my main investment vehicle of investment but I prefer to make it a topic in another post. President Arroyo’s 2008 State of the Nation Address (SONA)

This coming Monday July 28, 2008, our President, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will give his annual State of the Nation Address (SONA). The nation’s attention will once again be focused to the Batasan Complex (Where the house of the representathieves sorry, that is “representatives” holds sessions) at Quezon city, Metro Manila Philippines for this historic event. In the United States the State of the Nation Address is known as the “State of the Union address.” All systems go for this coming Monday’s State of the Nation Address. Traffic has been re-routed and schools in Quezon City have declared no classes. Security has been beefed up in the area and even the president’s new dress is already prepared. This time President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo will be wearing her newly made red Maria Clara terno in piña fiber. After the Manny Pacquiao vs. David Diaz fight, some people thought they have to wait up until November to see another exciting slugging in the ring. Manny Pacquiao may be the greatest Filipino boxer of all time but people should not forget that we have other great fighters that might in the near future equal or even supersede what Manny Pacquiao has achieved. One of those fighters is no other than the AJ Banal whose real name is Alex John Banal. Just 4 more days more to go for the much awaited AJ “Bazooka” Banal vs. Rafael “Little Bull” Concepcion fight in a fight dubbed as “Laban na Banal -  Panahon Na.” (English translation: The Holy/ Sacred fight - It's about time) The 19-year-old AJ Banal aims to be the third youngest Filipino to win a world crown. Wordcamp Philippines 2008 – Are you one of us?

At last the online registration of Wordcamp Philippines 2008 is now online ! I’ve been waiting for this to be up because I wanted to make sure that I am already registered before I buy a ticket for Metro Manila. I want to purchase a ticket as early as today because by doing so I would be getting a bigger discount for early ticket purchases. I am so excited to join WordCamp Philippines 2008 for several reasons. First of all WordCamp Philippines 2008 is the first big event that I have ever attended as a blogger. Secondly, WordCamp Philippines 2008 is the first WordCamp to be held in Southeast Asia. Thirdly, I will finally get to meet in person the big names in blogging. I’ve always have high regards for people who had been very successful in their blogging career whether as a problogger or a part time blogger.
