My name is Zigfred Diaz and I am a polymath. After more than 6 years of bloging about almost anything under the sun and having sort of a "blogging identity crisis." Do high trend low density “misspelled” keywords bring you lots of traffic ?

Veteran bloggers who have mastered the art of Search engine optimization (SEO) will tell you that one way of driving traffic into your blog is by optimizing “high-trend, low density keywords.” or what I call as HTLD or HITLOD. The definition of “high trend-low density” keywords has been discussed extensively in my previous posts such as - “googol – googel” “Mr Bean” and “Pinay scandal” In my own humble opinion, not all HTLD keywords can bring traffic to your site. There are certain keywords that may be classified as HTLD but they may not bring you traffic. An example of this is misspelled keywords. Some bloggers have been optimizing misspelled keywords and I don't know if this has been bringing them traffic and if it does bring traffic, does it bring them lots of it. The proper question that should be also asked is, is it worth it ? 1st quarter 2008 – Blog performance review

Happy 4th month anniversary to this blog ! It has been my tradition to point out to you the top ten posts of my blog for the month. However since this month is the end of the first quarter of 2008, I will be giving you the top 10 posts that has been the favorite of the visitors of this blog: 1.) PS – The title itself seems quite controversial. No wonder this is the most read post. I am also constantly optimizing this high trend, low density keyword as part of honing my SEO skills and experimenting with SEO strategies and techniques. From placing nowhere in google since the entry of my first post in January 19, 2008, I have ranked no. 55 on March 26, 2008. As of today I am ranked no. 16. This keyword has given me the most traffic from the search engines. 2.) Long wait finally over – 2007 Bar exam results released !

Yesterday (Saturday) was probably the longest day ever for my friend. At last the bar exam results was released. Sadly she was not included among those who made it. I did not know how to comfort her. No amount of words can try to ease the pain. Preparing for the Philippine bar exams is no joke. The physical and mental torture is unbearable. The waiting period is often times more agonizing than preparing for or taking the actual exam itself. Truly the 2007 bar exams is among the hardest if not the most hardest in Philippine bar exams history. The exam results was supposed to be released last Friday. (See my previous post entitled Bar Exams 2007 to be released by Friday or Saturday) However because of the low passing rate, the Philippine Supreme Court has decided to postpone the announcement of those who passed. Bar Exams 2007 to be released by Friday or Saturday

Judgement day, D day, moment of truth those are just some of the words that bar candidates choose to call the day that the bar exams would be released. The Supreme Court in it's website has officially anounced that the results for the 2007 bar exams which was held last September 2007 will be finally released either Friday, March 28, 2008 or Saturday, March 29, 2008. The Supreme Court En Banc will still have to meet tomorrow morning (Friday) to decide on the final release date. It's do or die tommorow for the 5,799 bar candidates that will no doubt be loosing sleep starting tonight. Rumors has been circulating that there were only 300 that passed the 2007 Philippine bar exams. If this is true only 6 % passed in what is regarded as the hardest exam in the Philippines. But I doubt if the rumors are true. The average passing rate since the 1950s was always within the 20% plus range. This point in time takes me back a year ago when I was awaiting the results of the 2006 bar exams. … [Read more...]
