ALA Boxing promotion’s latest title holder World Boxing Organization minimum weight champion Donnie “Ahas” Nietes will finally get a chance to defend his grown against Nicaragua’s Eddy “Torito II” Castro in a fight dubbed as WBO Night of Champions held at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu on August 30, 2008. Donny Nietes whose nick name is “Ahas” or Snake has an impressive record of only one defeat, 22 wins 13 of those via knockout and 3 draws. He is called as "Ahas" because he brings around a snake whenever he fights. I'm sure it has nothing to do with how he fights because if he keeps on slithering in his fights like a snake he might get Plantar Fasciitis. :-) On the other hand his opponent, Eddy “Torito II” Castro also holds an impressive record of 12-3-1 with 9 knockouts is currently ranked No. 9 by the WBO, No. 6 by the WBA Fedecaribe and No. 7 by the WBC Fecarbox. The fight between Donnie “Ahas” Nietes vs. Eddy “Torito II” Castro will be the undercard in the main event which … [Read more...]
How to come up with keywords that will get you high traffic
Different bloggers have different methods of coming up with their own keywords to optimize. There are probably hundreds if not thousands of ways on how to come up with the right keyword. Personally, I believe that in order to find high traffic or high trend - low trend keywords (HITLOD) keywords, you do not have to search for them. They will just come to you just like how great artists and inventors suddenly come up with a brilliant idea. (For more information on HITLOD keywords check out my blogpost: "A step by step guide on how to optimize high traffic-low density keywords." Here are my suggestions on how to come up with a keyword: 1.) Discover great keywords as you go about your day to day experiences - For example, after I watched the movie 21 I began to search the internet for the real story behind the movie. I realized that people would start to emulate them by gooogling “black jack”, “counting cards in blackjack”, “counting cards”, “how to count cards” or other similar … [Read more...]

Myartistsplace helps in raising smarter kids
Raising smarter kids is always in the mind of every parent whether they think about it consciously or unconsciously. I have in my desk a book on raising smarter kids entitled “Simulating your child’s intelligence.” The objective of the book is to define what intelligence is and to educate parents in raising smarter kids. There are a number of suggestions and many “how to” details in raising smarter kids, however something that caught my eye is the section on exposing your kids to arts and creativity. According to the book “All human senses can be simulated by art. Art teaches children to express themselves in a different way from speech. Through this they learn to study the world around them with a keener eye.” Exposing your children by enrolling them in classes with emphasis in any form of art will definitely be to their advantage. Myartistsplace.com is one such place wherein your child will be exposed to the arts. It is the prefect place for budding child actors, … [Read more...]
Youtube video of the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony
Beijing has certainly raised the standard when it comes to producing the opening ceremonies for the Olympics! I watched the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony live via Dream Cable pay per view. I wished that I was in Beijing during that time. The Chinese has certainly proven that they are ready for the world! A combination of modern technology, traditional Chinese theater arts and choreography coupled with jaw dropping fireworks certainly made the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony a splendid success. There are reports that came out that some of the fireworks shown on television during the Beijing Olympics opening ceremony were computer generated. They are saying that it is a fake. But who cares? You don’t watch the MATRIX and then accuse the director that the actions of Keanu Reeves were computer generated. What’s important is that you watched a fantastic movie. Besides that is what entertainment is all about. Now that the world has seen Beijing and the beauty of Chinese … [Read more...]
