I taught at my alma mater, Cebu Institute of Tehcnology University, College of Industrial Engineering. Being a blogger for several years, in my classes I always presented the idea of making money online through blogging. Every semester, I hammered this idea into their heads. I’ve always believed that the internet is the future and a goldmine. We live in very exciting times and the internet is fast changing our society. I’ve encouraged students to be more active in exploring and exploiting opportunities online, especially in the field of blogging and social media which is a current hot trend and will continue to be a trend in the next few years.
I expected some students to respond to my call, but I didn’t expect one of them to do this full time. Vernon Joseph Go, one of my students is now one of Cebu’s best known professional bloggers and Social media strategist. He will be conducting seminars on blogging and will teach you how to make money online.
His blogging workshop will explain why businesses or professionals should blog. Why blogging matters and how companies are using blogs to spark conversation, maximize online exposure, interests and increase sales revenue. I have always wanted to attend such seminar in blogging. I have been blogging for a couple of years now yet I believe I have not maximized the potential of blogging financially.
I just wish a seminar with such goal will also be held here in Manila. Hopefully, it’s gonna be for free too.

arbee: There are lots ou of blogging seminars in Manila, in fact there are more there than in Cebu and if you are so blessed if you are a blogger based in Manila as most blogging events and blogging sponsorship originate from there, some don’t even go to other places in the Philippines. My advice to you is join a local blogging group in your area.
